I have an Asus V8200 on the way from an auction I won on ebay. I got my Geforce 3, bundled with full versions of Sacrifice and Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force for only $330.00
Anyhow, enough about my purchase. DX uses a modified version of the aged Unreal engine. Not the Unreal Tournament, but the original Unreal. Anyhow, the only thing that you're likely to get from the G3 in DX is frame rates, which isn't a bad thing. You'll also be able to bump on up to 32 bit textures and anti aliasing, which isn't a bad thing either. As for the DirectX 8 features though, you won't get any of the fancy wancy bells and whistles that it offers.

kewl, thanx for the insight, and another thing, you got any ideas for a good single player mod??? I would come up with my own ideas, BUT I WANT TO MAKE A MOD FOR THE ENTIRE COMMUNITY, FROM THE COMMUNITY!!!!
so let me know thanx...

Anything that is unique. Think outside the box and not like all the other mods. Try and find a different style of gameplay. Something humorous would be a nice change. I don't know what to tell you, because if I come up with something, then it'd be my mod and not your mod.
