I started playing Thecker castle and as soon as it loads I get this:

I went to Thiefmissions and the file contains only the convict.osm.
Can anybody send it to me pls?
I did a google search but didn't come up with a download link.......

Are you using New Dark? I'm guessing the latest version of Tafferpatcher takes care of this for you.

Edit: btw, I just downloaded that file and it has both convict.osm and gen.osm inside. Use the ones inside the /thief2 directory.

Yes it does have both files.
What I found out is that Norton was deleting it because it was a risk for the pc.
Now I changed the settings and I could use it: :)

That`s why i never use Norton, it`s always making his own rules, I`m the one who decides to make a choice, Not Norton!! I hate Norton!!!

Unfortunately I can not enjoy it!!!! :(
30+ minutes into the game. I did hard saves and quick saves. Everything was fine.
Then, while doing my last hardsave the screen freezed and the application shut down.
When I got back into the game, all the saves were gone........

Exactly what happened while playing Hammered yesterday........

What's going on??? Can anybody tell me pls?
This is getting very frustrating.....

I'm pretty sure I do.
I have the zip folder in T2 folder, so I really think I had installed.
And until 2 days ago I did not have any problems at all.......
I'll reinstall Newdark just to be sure.......
I wouldn't like to go through all the reinstalling game and patches and scripts....... :(

That's not how you install the patch, you need to extract the contents of the patch to the appropriate folders. But you're better off just reinstalling Thief 2 and patching it with the latest version of Tafferpatcher.

You should install New Dark using (http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=131106) Tafferpatcher, it handles all of these tasks for you.

Plus, Old Dark Thief installations will work fine for most missions, but you will eventually have issues with compatibility if you don't upgrade.

I installed Tafferpatcher and things worked out great with the 2 missions I had problems with.
