Searches for a bookcase

Can't find no bookcase with any key on it. :erg:

OK. I found that, it opened the whatsit downstairs, then i pushed the button. What was that for? The secret door i opened with my fire arrows earlier? Still no key! :confused:

I don't think there are any keys in the chapel. The secret will take you where you need to go.

My crashing stopped when I deleted SND in the unzip and fiddled with audio in options.

I've been on every floor, knocked everyone out, except the guards behind the fence outside. I still can't find the key to open the doors on 2nd floor. Does anyone know why the voice on the 3rd floor keeps saying "watch that light around the corner"?:wot:

I never heard that voice on the 3rd floor. Did you start hearing it right from the start? My progress is at the same point as yours. I can't find a thing that will:tsktsk: let me proceed.

How to get in (via the chapel)

Climb up the ladder in the chapel. Move the vase in the bookcase. Climb down the ladder. On the other end of the chapel a switch hidden in the floor has been revealed. Go back up the ladder... the secret door in the wall has opened.

How to open the doors on the ground floor:

[spoiler]
You need a key. You find it in a secret room in the locked room with the metal door in the cellar (the switch is behind the covered sofa)
You find the key for the metal door somwhere on the second floor ( I think)

How to get access to the second floor:

You need the elevator key. It can be found in the last room on the right on the first floor.

How to open the doors on the first floor:

The key for the first floor is in the broom closet on the ground floor

i have been to the basement....one metal door locked. Been to 2nd floor no doors unlocked....been to next floor all doors unlocked, i bashed in the washroom door but am stuck here. Where the heck is the key for the basement room or the one for the 2nd floor rooms.

Yes, Garrett talked all thru the mission. On the 3rd floor, it was really aggravating because he wouldn't stop until you were in one of the rooms.[SPOILER]Look in the basement by a covered lamp for red key. It opens a door on the 3rd floor. Find another key in that room on the 3rd floor. I forgot what it opens, but it may be the door to the button that makes the elevator go up another floor. Look on the wall of the elevator on 3rd floor. [/SPOILER]

I can't remember where I found things after that, but when you find another key just keep going back to unlock things and be sure to frob all red books. I've been in 3 or 4 different places since I last posted above and I have only 3 objectives checked off. Now, I'm stumped again. Can anyone help?:eww: :cool:
