German patch for budget version?

Hi guys,
I think we all know the problem that happens when you have the budget version of Thief TMA and you install the patch: It doesn't recognize the disc as the original. And, to make things worse, the only patch that fixes that problem is for the english version (as far as I know)
But I really want to install 1.18 because I want to play T2X. Do you know a solution?

Install the (http://www.thief-thecircle.com/media/patches/) Thief 2 Premier Patch (v1.18). Worked for me.

Hm... seems like the download is corrupt, doesn't work for me. The download is over in just a second and the file is damaged...

I successfully downloaded the file about a week ago. Try again or look for a different server which hosts the patch.
