Looks nice... I'm assuming that does more than just knock someone out, though... :cheeky:
As Don has hinted it will be given a small bonus against undead, I haven't yet decided wether this will just be haunts and ghosts or whether to have it as the zombie weapon, but I will soon decide, as there will be living AIs in my mission it will also knock out... with an added damage result as well of course.
Oh yeah I've forgotten how to find out what size an image needs to be in order to attach it to an object I'm making in anim8or, I hope to get a few items done for my FM

The height and width of any texture can be any combinaton of powers of two.
e.g. 1, 2, 4, 8, 16 etc. The maximum is 256

And this will automatically fit to the object?

This anima8or is really sweet!:thumb:
I made a simple book following sluggs tutorial but I can't export it to bin format.
Complains something about sliver triangles. How do I fix this? :erm:

that happens when the model contains very small faces, or lots of small faces, if the model can be converted to bin then dont' worry about it, if it stalls and never completes, or crashes then you might have to fix the faces, if you have a surface with lots of faces that can be combined, use the merge faces option to make them a single face.

ok I ignored the errors and got it exported. Got it into dromed as well but all the faces of the book are jorge. Strange. I have converted the textures to pcx and added them into fam/obj/txt16
Ottoj55 on 9/10/2005 at 17:17
must be .gif in obj/txt16 not fam/obj/txt16
Hidden in shadows on 9/10/2005 at 17:29
oh I meant obj..
Anyways, now I've placed the gifs into obj/txt16 but still not working. This time the book is invisible. :erm:

are you using a 256 palette, and are the texture names in the obj correct, you might have specified .pcx in the .e file, but switched to .gif files, you'll need to make that change in the .e file as well, then run bsp again.

re-textured the book with the "gif" files and exported. I now have the book in dromed but some faces are still jorge. Progress though:D
Yes I'm using a 256 palette
