Well the lidt flys off screen in high speed when i frob it and comes in at high speed when i frob it again??? The box is X=2.68 Y=1.56 Z=0.64

Try spinning the joint around 180 degrees, so point 1 is where point 0 used to be and vice versa.
Nielsen74 on 25/11/2006 at 19:47
Wouldt that not make the lidt go the other (wrong) way, but still just fly of ???

Sorry, I started to post, then had to take a phone call, my post didn't stick.

try using that for your axle name.
2500 in a rotating axle means about 90 degrees.
2500 in translating means probably 2500 feet. So your lid is opening to a point 2500 feet away, thus it zooms off really fast because it has to cover tons of ground in the time specified in Dromed.
2 reasons to use 0000.
1- that means bsp won't try to figure out where the joint is moving. It doesn't need to because you choose that in Dromed under Tweq Joints prop.
Sometimes you will get problems while converting because a vertice or plane slightly moves thru another part, say the base obj, bsp hates that. If you choose 0000 it thinks the lid won't rotate, thus it won't rotate thru anything, thus no problems.
2-You get to choose whatever distance/angle you want to in Dromed, you also get to choose speed... So you'll have to fine tune in Dromed anyway.
I suppose in Dromed you'll want that lid to move at about a spped of 5 and a distance of 0.5 (not 2500 eh?)

Thanks that helpede :thumb:
I manage to get it to oppen and close BUT it oppens on the first frob with the right sound but reel fast, the next frob (frob nr.2) just gives a closing sound but no movement, then at the 3 frob the lidt closes with the right sound but reel fast too  after that it works like it should, except that it oppens and closes reel fast!. :(
Mayby I´v set it up the wrong way  , her´s the setup in the Object Hierarchy:
Code:

rate-low-high X=3 Y=1.90 Z=0
I believe that is your problem.
Y =0 (that means it starts where you placed it at in 3d-closed position)
Z=1.9 (that's the max open position)

Thanks, now it works perfect :thumb:

ehmmm it's a long time that don't look to this thread and i only would say thank to schwaa for the two joints matter... ;)

Nielsen74, you're welcome.
Sterlino, no prob. Sounds like a cool obj, would like to see it working.

well, actually i'm not working on a new model, simple look to the mech box in Assault at the GasStation, that was the one to fix.;)
