Bear in mind that this won't work for all sides if you have say, 2 points together in the same location. You will have to remove those extra points first. You will get extra points often when copying and pasting one part of the object to another. Also bear in mind that extra points won't win you any prizes! :laff:

I'm having toube loading textures. :erg:
However I looked around the topic and haven't found a clue to it... Can someone help?
The name of my texture is b2_rock
I've set everything settable to the textue, but it doesn't work. Maybe I'm setting far too many things. Someone please explain it to me!!!!

To load a texture, bring up the Materials column.
At the top it says File | Object . Make sure Object is selected.
Double click where it says New.
Click on Textures.
Click on the ... next to Diffuse (the others aren't necessary for Thief objects).
Select 'Load Texture', and open folders, push buttons, fiddle with knobs etc until you find the file.
Anim8or only supports .bmp, .gif, and .jpg, not .pcx. Obviously you should at some point make sure the texture is .gif because it's the only one supported by Thief and Anim8or.

the tough part i find is getting the texture to apply correctly, and get the uv settings right, you can add them with the uv button or with setting>component>texture uv. you may also have more success using a uv mapper program to break the object down into its parts for you to texture.

Allirht, it seems to be loading the texture now but it still looks half made. The material show the texture all right, however the object itself doesn't.
Maybe it will show up only on DromEd (still need to get to that part... :p )
