Hey, I've got a question. What's the difference between loading textures under File vs. under Object? I'm speaking of the two tabs on the Material toolbar.

thats damn hot sluggs. i don't see why light inside the object wouldn't work if it was built as separate meshes with transparency.
i'm working on targa's robo again, the thing that got me into anim8or and i can't convert it back to the 3ds file from the bin. does anyone have a way to contact targa or a program capable of doing the conversion?
i also recall the conversion had its feet in a funny place last time i tried it.
for those who have never seen it.

the only thing he couldn't do was make bsp complete a corpse for the robo, the model was too high poly, and i can see a lot of places to slash polygons off this thing. the original 3ds file would be the way to go if anyone has it or can get it.

:laff: Nah! I'll create something else for that. Right now, I 'm putting some final touchs for a new elevator object (so the lights and buttons don't look like they're floating up or down with you. Like a REAL elevator. :cheeky: ). I would have more of the third mission done by now, but my college courses are eating up some of that time :sweat: .
