Well, i'll be! Just what i need for my Museum! :wot: Thanx dude. :thumb:
Yes, there's a fan schema in T2. I'll check what .wavs it uses and send you the files, and schema.
Pity about the square fan. I really need a square one. I'll probably make one myself. The one in T2 is crap!
Erm, .ace files? How does one extract those?
Ottoj55 on 1/10/2004 at 16:04
theres a fan schema, that thing is great, going in my next project for sure.

I don't know... maybe chicken? You can see them cooking a lot but you can never actually eat them. Grapes would be nice, but they'd probably be hard to make and high-poly. One could make mushrooms edible by fiddling with their properties (Death of Garrett had an edible mushroom, I believe), so we've got those. Or even different versions of available foods, like a different kind of cheese or green apples. Maybe some other drinks besides all that alcohol, like cups of tea or coffee or (:o) water. I honestly don't know that much of what they ate back in those days, but I'd like to see some more variety than the standard set of food. Thanks a lot if you make some kind of food.
I'm sure there are other kinds of foods that could be made, but none come to mind now. Maybe burrick or even spider meat (remember Shipping and Receiving?). Basically anything that would be plausible in a Thief environment.
Edit: Those air vents look great. I would like to see some more ventilation systems that can be traversed.
Edit #2: I noticed Shadowspawn made a coffee cup. And there are also doughnut and garlic models available, not to mention fish.

I'll post the Anim8or file here, in hopes that someone will manage to get BSP to digest it:
File removed as the problem is fixed - please scroll down a few posts to get the working version! Also, the archives in my abouve post were converted to Zip, for your convinience.

WoW! Those are great, G'len! Poly and I need the vent for DCE, and I can use the fans too.
G'len on 1/10/2004 at 17:07
Thanks for the schema...
About the square fan, I hope you'll be able to convert it. BSP is a worse bitch than shockEd.
Sluggs on 1/10/2004 at 17:46
It's something to do with the blades. If you remove them, BSP comes up with no errors at all. I think they need shortening. You'd be better off redoing it, so that the motor isn't off center.
What's one to use to extract .ace files? [EDIT] Never mind. I just saw that you converted them to .zip Thanx. :thumb: [/EDIT]

It's still pretty rough, but here's a reskinnable bookcase:

http://home.insightbb.com/~yandros/temp/temp_files/bkcase.jpgI'll have a darker wood version, as well as a version of each which is narrower and only has 2 replaceable textures. They use all original T2 textures.
