sluggs, question on the reskinnable crates, why won't they skin? i've created a new object under the crate archetype called vcCrate1, i've added 4 new crate images to obj/txt and i've added the txtrepls 0-3 obj txt creat1.pcx etc. and i create a crate and nothing, i've tried both \ and / and nothing. i know you can skin out of that folder i've done it. so whats up with this?

Ahh! I had the same problem. You can't add the TxtRepl's to the object in the Hierarchy if you're using the same textures on brushes. They share the textures and either the object loses the textures or the brushes do.
You'll have to add them after the object has been created in Dromed.

Working on the tut right now, and I ran into a problem. Is it just my inexperience with the program, or am I just being stupid?

You can only hilight the faces on the side, it looks like you got all of them.

Looks like ye grabbed a couple of extra faces and extruded those too! :wot: Best start afresh. Ye learn from your own mistakes. :thumb:
