Thanks, I actually pulled the wood texture out of the wooden floor texture family. It worked a lot better than I thought it would.

That's two objects you've made already since beginning the Eggplant tut! :wot: I feel rather proud of this thread. :cheeky: (Like i didn't already?)

a trick that helps me is to think about the textures actual size, for example, a 256x256 texture is about 16x16 in game, so my newest object is a 2x2x2 tie off for a rope, i made the texture 64x64 for the ropes, so they fit without any scaling, and the effect is exactly what i wanted.

Sluggs have you got any nice hanging lights that hang off the ceiling on a short length of chain or rope? Or something simular.
I seem to remember seeing your name next to oone but i can't find it now

Eshaktaar has a nice one at (

Edit: :erg: looks like I was beaten.
If anyone wants the compass I can mail the .bin and textures to them.

You taffers' can taff the early version of my fancy crate object. I have more work to do on it, like putting a reskinnable label and a lock on it. I'll probably have left the building before i can finish it! :p (If i finish it before i go, i'll post it here)

Sorry, there's no readme and the folders aren't set up.
Use a Footlocker, change it's shape to "fancrate"
Add: Joints and change the primary Joint to 1 and in the first rate-low-high list add: 15/-90/0
Change the numbers in the next rate-low-high all to 0. Change the Jointstate/AnimS to Reverse.
You'll want to set the dimensions correctly as well. You'd also be better off changing the schema to "BoxType BoxChest"

That's a very nice crate sluggs :thumb:
I'd use it myself if I didn't have 1.3MB of bin files already :tsktsk:
