i need some help setting up an axle, i want to create a rotating shaft, i have the object, two pieces a base and the shaft, its basically like fan.bin, using the same names as fan.bin i export the object but bsp fails to make an object, just quits without a .bin being made. i looked at schwaa's tutorial on axles, but it covered doors, drawers, crate lids, things like that.

Otto55, the axles are still the same.
For the fan you'd have to make the axle in line with the shaft. Then you'll set a TWEQ in Dromed for rotate.
I think the name needs a z in it instead of x but I'd have to look at the tut, it's been awhile. You could send me the 3ds and I'll take a look. [email]schwaa11@hotmail.com[/email]

thanks schwaa, it works now, it was the vhots that were screwing me up, i had to read further down to the stuff about switches and now it works.
EDIT: the generator i made, its big, much bigger than even the original generator, and it has a transformer that goes with it, the shaft that connects them rotates, there are also large fuel tanks that go with them that i've made, and some piping yet to be made.
