To be honest, I haven't played either of them in a while because of compatibility issues. The website GOG.com takes older games and makes them compatible with XP and Vista. I'm sure that if they could get their hands on Thief 1 and 2, it would excite a lot of people and probably renew some love for the series, but I'm not sure how they could go about doing that?
Any ideas? Could we make a petition to prove the interest there would be?

I don't know if it's worth it. There's already Sold Out Software versions, which claim they work on XP and vista. (well for thief 3 my copy says xp/vista, not actually sure about thief 1/2) Plus it's just not the same as having the disc.:)
But if that's what people want then fine. And actually, it might be worth it alone for as you say, exciting people about the games again

The guys on GOG.com have a wish list where you can vote and Thief 1 and Thief 2 have a large number of votes already ;)

Well,
I always managed to play Thief 1 fine after reading a lot of FAQs.
But if they can make it work on XP/Vista without the need for obscure codecs then I will be happy.

Quick, someone build 387 "Unclear on the Concept" awards for the 387 retards who voted for Thief: Deadly Shadows.
And good lord... 261 people voted for Bloodlines, a game that's already available on Steam.

Everyone knows that Steam is entirely DRM free, right Chief?
You do have a point with your first paragraph though, some retards have nominated console games that were never ported to PC.

I can't believe Outcast is actually on the top list, this is great news.

Also, why tdp and not gold? as the original is easily available unlike gold that you must unfortunately look for a used copy (the eidos drm ones don't let you edit it or have updates or fms aparently so they don't exactlt count).
