Recently I was thinking aout: if we can say no to Murus, then why can't we say no to Lauryl, but then I figure out that the "cage" in the basement won't work until Lauryl "activates" :grr: it...

I think its due to the fact that Lauryl is a poor orphaned girl that your supposed to feel sympathy towards. At any rate shes an orphan, so Garrett can sympathise even if we, the players, cant.

I'm not done with the cradle yet (or the game for that matter) but I couldn't help but get the feeling that I was releasing some kind of evil by letting laural escape. I just hope i'm wrong, I mean the voice just sounded kinda sinister for a girl who's desperate to escape.

it sounded sinister in thief 2 TMA when she translated the prophecy IMO
The hotdog man on 25/7/2006 at 03:00
I was wondering if that was her or not in TMA.
Xenith on 25/7/2006 at 09:24
well, the voice is the same and so is the face from the portrait in the attic from TDS whit her "model" in the cutscene from TMA. has to be her.
I was wondering if Gamall hadn't taken her body since TMA...

Gamall stole the body decades ago and she was evil in TMA too, but we didn't know then. It was taken when the Hammerite was a child but now he's middle-aged.

Well that could be down to stress of trying to inspect stuff that nobody believes exists.
