But if Gamall had posession of Lauryll's body and was acting as keeper translator in TMA, why didn't the keepers get suspicious when by the time of DS she hadn't aged at all? In DS they presumed that she was just a regular child (who could translate prophesies) who would eventually grow up.

I didnt think particularly much time had passed between the two. And Gamall probably aged the body slightly if too much time was passing. Though if she was only 8 then becoming 10 wouldnt really change her look overmuch.

Recently I was thinking aout: if we can say no to Murus, then why can't we say no to Lauryl, but then I figure out that the "cage" in the basement won't work until Lauryl "activates" :grr: it...
Actually, you can use the cage to return to the past at any time. Lauryl does not activate it.

I've tried using the cage the first time I'm in the basement, but it doesn't work.

I know. But only by letting her out can I use the cage, it's just the same...

Before or after you restored the power?

It wouldn't make much sense if the cage only worked with the power on, I can't imagine any amount of electricity would allow you to travel back into the memories of a haunted hospital/orphanage

So, after I restored the power it will work? I don't need to find all those things for Lauryl and burn it up?
I should try that next time...

Unfortunatly, you still have to complete all objectives. Otherwise Garret will protest as you try to leave Shalebridge.

I have a quick question, and I might as well post it here instead of making yet another Cradle thread:
I know in Easy mode, there is one puppet that crosses through the lobby (if you can call it that) of inner cradle. By lobby, I mean the main room with the inmate list and whatnot. I knew he had a rather long route he traveled, but I found myself waiting for at least half an hour (I was terrified he'd sneak up behind me as I explored the rest of the cradle), and he still hasn't come back. Does anyone happen to know his route - maybe someone who had the guts to follow him the first time? Don't worry about spoilers, as I've played through this mission several times. Thanks

I know the one you're talking about, and I think he actually travels across the majority of the Inner Cradle. He spends a great deal of time in White Hall.
I don't know his exact route, and I don't have a save for there. However, it seems to me that the Puppets change their patrol routes of the fly. I've seen them double back for no reason, go other ways. They're also more alert than other AIs. If they notice a door is open, often times they'll go inside the room and walk around for a minute, checking it out.
Also, I've seen it twice now, where the Puppets will get down on the ground and just kind of bang their fists into the ground. I don't know if this is all difficulties (I've only seen it on Expert) but that can possibly account for why it took so long for that Puppet to come back. Let me to tell you, it makes a great scare tactic, walking through a room you thought was empty then you walk RIGHT INTO ONE OF THE TAFFERS :p
