Why not save?
Garrett may have decided to pay you a visit and may shut your power system beforehand.
How many of us use an UPS?

what's an UPS?
All the ghosting missions can be found at that ghosting site, right?

I like the challenge of not saving on expert...forget ghosting, it's a little over the edge for my taste. I can pretty much play saveless until the Sword on Thief 1...this goal is still a work in progress as of a few months ago.

I ghost regularly. I enjoy the challenge. I also have tried (successfully a few times) ghosting with no reloads. My biggest problem with this approach though, is that it can get quite tedious in some missions. When the map is very large and heavily populated with ai on random patrols, ghosting can amount to an awful lot of waiting around.

And a mighty fine "feature" it is, not knowing if the next step on that small bush will cause you to "AAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!".

I tried the no reloading rule with T2 a while back. I drew the line at keeping my PC on all the time and followed the rule that if I'm in a mission I won't pause it if I have to leave my PC - but it's OK between missions. I think I got to Precious Cargo until I got bored with it. I got tired of playing the first few missions only to get stomped on one of the later ones! I can ghost the first 3 without reloading - after that... hmm.

You could actually ghost 1st mission? Isn't ghosting about not killing/blackjacking anyone? Because i'm sure you had to knock out the guard turning back on ye, civilian in the kitchen and the archer in one of the halls. And if you play on expert, you even have to score 8 knockouts and collect a gem, that can only be get by hitting another guard. Heh.

Hm yes I always play hard on that so I don't get that objective. The 1 guy in the hallway I have to knock out, but it's stealthy.
