This in the average cases would be impossible, jtr7. You cannot ghosting and also go like formula 1 without being caught.
Anyway: I took a look at the Ghosting rules, and I don't agree with this one:
"
9. No loot cheats or walkthroughs are allowed -- a point of honor that cannot be enforced."
So, in further posts, if I mention ghosting, I could have used the walkthroughs, because this isn't fundamental in the ghost concept.
Not running and getting caught. Fastest Ghost possible, even though it still takes time.

I sort of agree with massi here, because if you're at the point where you're ghosting or speed running you're going to know levels pretty well, (or will by the end!!) so to check something on a walkthru (or your own notes if your insane enough to make them ;) ) doesn't seem like any kind of problem.
Maybe testing yourself you want to do it all from memory. But it'd take a few run throughs anyway.

I know it's a bit of a way off, but I look forward to seeing how you get past the "Turret Room" in Soulforge (T2). My tactic there is to crouch and run like a crazy person ;) (but then again, I'm not ghosting)

Even on expert you can skip one of the signal towers, I would just skip the turret room.

My own type of ghosting includes these rules and with them you can ghost almost every mission in the series:
-Highest difficulty
-No damage dealt ("Running Interference" exception= 8 dmg, "Kidnap" exception= 1dmg)
-Enemy never detects the player ("Hahaa, there you are!")
-No permanent property damage (Doors or banners broken)
-No tools left at site. (Rope arrows, scouting orbs etc.)
-All loot than can be acquired without alerting enemies stolen.
-Optional: Invisibility potions should only be used in 3 places*
-Optional: No food or equipment stolen (Professionals only take valuables)
Using these rules you can use distractions to draw people away from place you need to get to (Karras' Office in LoTP) but the enemy can never know that it was Garrett who stole everything because no-one ever saw anyone. Also leaving very little evidence is a good thing.
*Getting past metal child in "Life of the Party", kidnapping Cavador in "Kidnap", Getting to "Cap'n Mah'kham's scurvy trezah" in "Precious Cargo". :p
How did you get rid of the servant that keeps tracking Cavador? When I pick him up the servant shows up and comes after me. I can swear Cavador has a tracking device on him and that servant the radar.

Unfortunately, it requires a flashbomb and invisibility potion just in case.
When Cavador is in his room, I have prepared by opening the doors. When all the guards are looking at the same direction, I flash them, knock out Cavador, drink an invisibility potion, pick up Cavador and *whoosh* out of the room. I run down the hallway to a room to wait for the guards to settle down, then I get back downstairs and leave.
The guards never see Cavadors body or me, all they know is that they saw a bright flash and Brotha' C. was gone. ;)
Also, what servant? I've never seen one there.

When I did it on expert, that was the one of the towers I got. It involved 2 speed potions, and hopeing you don't get hit.
Edit: Techinically you can't ghost soulfroge cause right at the start there is nothing you can do to stop the face by the doors from seeing you :P. That's how karras knows your there.

Yeah! So ghosting is already denied in that mission. But you can just avoid to think at that accident. eheh
