I just saw the Bafford video and I enjoyed it, Deathologist. I've never tried to ghost a mission, but you might be the one who makes me try it:)

Yeah! :D Today I have started to replay this game, but this time in ghost mode, since I thought it was a true challenge, and so it adds more fun at the game that I already know, but I didn't think it was so difficult!
I have had troubles finding the 100% of loot, since I didn't manage to find the last piece (
Jade Necklace, on top of the bed canopy). Thanks thief wikia! :D

The Bloodmine mission has a guard on top of the tower to Lady Elizabeth's chambers, who faces away from you but blocks the way through. How did you ghost past him?
massimilianogoi on 1/12/2009 at 14:01
Yeah!, it was a problem yesterday; I simply threw a chandelier towards him then quickly fled into the enlighted corridor, until the darker lateral chamber, I hided myself, leaned right to spy if he was on the visual line, then ran until the locked door, that has another shadow field. Hope it helps :thumb:
(Before succeeding I've done alot of attempts :erg:)

This night I will begin the second part, the one ambiented between South Quarter and Stone Market :ebil:
Let's see how that will be!

Well, I thought the End of the Bloodline mission continued, instead the acting before entering in the cathedral wasn't counted... Too bad. In Thief 2 all would counts for the good issue of the missions.
So this is St. Edgar's Eve:

http://i45.tinypic.com/1z68g7s.jpgI had to replay it beacuse I finished the water arrows, and I couldn't pass through
the corridor where is the guard, past the priest lodging, where there's a torch that enlights around the second time I've had troubles finding
the gem hidden near the base of one of those statues inside the walls.
Damn, I thuoght ghosting TDS was alot easier!

I had a terrible time ghosting TDS, but I tended to interpret AI alerts too stringently. If AI noticed missing loot or doused torches and departed from their patrol paths to investigate, I was inclined to think that was a 2nd alert and thus a ghost bust.
I think only three or four T3 OMs are ghostable.
I'll be curious to read how you deal with "The Sunken Citadel," "House of Widowed Moira," "Clocktower," "Robbing the Cradle," and "Wieldstrom Museum." I never managed to ghost those.
Dussander on 10/12/2009 at 09:05
Clocktower can be ghosted up to a point, where you are in the view of two guards facing different directions. I don't remember getting past them because it was too lit up so I had to use a gas arrow.
Moira's mission is ghostable and there are only two spots I remember which were difficult - the 'midnight robbery team' and getting to the lift after you press the switch. Oh, and the room with the lift has a guard near a chest, but it's possible to get the loot if you are patient and wait for the guard to look at his friend outside the doors.
The sunken citadel I think is ghostable but you might have to be 'lenient' if you want the giant crystal shard. I think I was able to do it without getting the pagans too riled up (only level 1 alert - I think).
The Cradle isn't ghostable but it doesn't mean you can't be stealthy for most of it. In the morgue if you want the gold teeth you have to kill a puppet on the floor. Plus, you get caught by the staff at the end, although I was able to flashbomb them all and get a 0 caught statistic.
The museum is a monster of a mission to ghost, but I think I did it. It really helps to know the water arrow trick. The guards are quite spread out, so it makes it easier. I think I only had a problem getting the medallion and resorted to using a moss arrow.

The mission is ghostable dousing the torches too, at least for me: it could be a drafty point where the torch goes out, so nothing bad. Plus, in facts you get no caughts doing this. For me is ghosting also using flash bombs or noisemaker arrows, the only point is don't getting caught.

You can quite use a flashbomb then pass through.

You guys forget the power of the leaning at the wall key :joke: Using this, in facts, saves you from all the NPCs viewing. I discovered it reading somewhere on Internet. The AI isn't able to see you even in full light, maybe, no, SURELY it's a bug.
