Slave Zero. :wot:
Man... I haven't played that game in a long while. I should fire it up just for the fun of it.
EDIT: Wait a minute... doesn't that game already use direct3d as well? Or am I missing something with the glide mode?

You got me to play it again. Glide doesn't seem to support bumpmapping (at least without a glide wrapper), while Direct3D (or "primary") does.
Also, blowing up buildings by throwing people and cars at them is still fun.

I'm just trying to get the demo going, and while at first I got 640x480x16, now all I get are "render did not init" errors; no matter what I do to the configs. I was hoping using a Glide wrapper would help me get around it.

Slave Zero was fun for a bit, but ultimately way too repetitive, and the end-boss was just ridiculous.
Awesome box art, though :)
edit: ah, hell... just played it for an hour :)
No idea about those demo errors, sorry.

You're playing on Windows XP? If so, what video card do you have?

Hemebond, are the errors you are getting refering to the file "SLAVEZERO.ICD"?

Win98SE w/ GF4Ti4200

No. I managed to get it going with a reinstall. Looks like I stuffed something up while playing with the ini files. However I still can't get a better resolution than 640x480x16.

Well... that's better than nothing, I suppose. :) Do you have the full version of the game... or only the demo? Also, what video card do you have Hemebond?
Hemebond on 17/6/2006 at 12:54
I only have the demo. I'm running a GeForce 7800 GTX.
