SS2 is at the top, but Thief and Thief 2 need some more votes!
And sorry if this has already been posted, but even so, I don't see it so it needs to be brought up again.

I think now that the Thief series has a(n almost) proper re-release, the only important one would be System Shock 2 and that's already at the top.

So, voting for Thief has too great a chance to knock Shock off the top, and 2nd place through 10th isn't good enough for Thief?
JonesCrusher on 14/1/2010 at 23:37
did that but why is there a "thief 2 the metal age" and "thief II metal age?"
just a mistake?

Yeah. One is common, the other is proper, and one didn't look to see if the other was already there. We will have to tally them together, since they won't, eh?

Yes, this logic doesn't make any sense. SS2 is very strongly in 1st place and if possible I'm sure WILL get released at GOG, but with the Thief games being so low it is possible they WILL NOT get released. Also, how, in any way, has Thief been re-released?
GOG makes sure their games install and run on the newest Windows OS, so it IS important for both Thief and SS2 to be at the top. So VOTE FOR ALL OF THEM.
Good grief.
And yes apparently people have submitted Thief 2 in multiple spellings and both Thief Gold and TDP. Just vote for them all! :)

Okay, okay, done. :) I already voted for SS2 back then - that's one I'd definitely buy if it got re-released.

I voted for all 5 System Shock and Thief games to appear on GOG. Since GOG need to ensure compatability with modern hardware, I think the only one that has a good chance of becoming available is SS1, which they can run in DosBox.
Maybe they could include their own version of DDfix and automatically configure it with a modified Thief exe file? The "Complete Thief Collection" DVD has had it's own installers made by Mastertronic, so GOG may be able to include the unofficial patch. But they'd need permision from Eidos/EA to make changes to the release (since they are modifying the original program files).
Come to think of it, if they renamed the ddfix.dll as ddraw.dll and placed it in the Thief directory, then they wouldn't even need to change the exe file. So it should be OK :D Does DDfix work on all Intel/nVidia/ATI graphics cards?
Edit - I tried having ddfix.dll called ddraw.dll in the game directories, and it worked fine providing the Video Fix was NOT enabled in the .ini file. Slightly wierd things happened when playing the movies in-game otherwise!
