I'm flying to China for a month next month, which will mean lots of time on planes and, once we get there, trains, so I'm looking to pad my 3DS library a bit. Right now I have Animal Crossing, Mario 3D Land, and A Link Between Worlds. Games I was considering getting are Luigi's Mansion, Pilotwings, and New Super Mario Bros. 2.
I don't really have any genre preferences, though, so feel free to suggest anything. Eurogamer is really only console-gaming site I read, and thier 3DS coverage is pretty slim. I'm not actually sure where to go to read about it.

One of the Monster Hunter games maybe?
I'm playing Monster Hunter Freedom Unite on the iPad. Only just started it and still only in the tutorial area, but it's pretty crazy. There's this musical chairs BBQ minigame where you need to stop roasting your meat just as the music ends so as to not burn it. Like I said, pretty crazy stuff.

Fire Emblem Awakening! :D
That should be enough to do you for a while. Plus it's great.

If you like Final Fantasy games, get Bravely Default.

I'll second Zerker's recommendation of Fire Emblem: Awakening. Specially if you ever played, and loved any classic strategy/jrpg games such as any of the Tactics Ogre, Final Fantasy Tactics, Disgaea series and such. Tons of fun, very good challenge and lots of content to keep yourself entertained for a while!
Now, since you mention that you have A Link Between Worlds, I'm going to assume you enjoy a bit of Zelda. Well, why not the obvious and get the Ocarina Of Time remake? Really worth it if you liked the original. Even better, imho, if you never played it before :)
Don't discount getting a few DLC games such as Shovel Knight. Plays quite well on the 3DS and it is a BLAST!

I really enjoyed Luigi's Mansion. It has a mission structure unlike the gamecube version with a focus on collecting stuff. If you enjoy Zelda, can't go wrong with that or Ocarina of Time 3D. Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask is great too if you like puzzles.

Phoenix Wright: Dual Destinies. I haven't played the 3DS PW outing, but the others on the DS are brilliant, though as puzzle games they are lacking in replayability. Still, they're good head-scratchers and the characters are enjoyable.

I'm surpirsed no one suggested these ones...
Etrian Odyssey IV: Legends of the Titan
Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl
Sorry... I'm a huge sucker for these Dungeon Crawler styled games. I could play them for hours & hours on end without ever getting bored. I've been a fan of games like this since Stonekeep. I'm sure with either of these in your library... you'll have hours of fun.

Thanks for the recs. Some of these I hadn't thought of or even heard of, and I was hoping people would chime in with DLC games, too. I've been meaning to try Shovel Knight.

Pushmo and Crashmo are excellent downloadable puzzle games made by Nintendo.
