Even as a tongue and cheek response, you're so far off it's honest-to-goodness comical (honestly, you have no idea how bad a response that was). I'm having a genuine laugh-out-loud moment here. :cheeky: In fact, your last couple of posts are so rich, I'm sending links to them to Fullbright. I'm sure they'll be amused.
I don't recommend you parrot the Eurogamer review, btw. That poor reviewer also completely whiffed on this house's disturbing history.
For anyone else interested in this mystery and who have an interest in playing this game (and I appreciate it isn't for everyone), do yourself a favor and don't go googling about trying to determine why I'm ridiculing poor Gabucino until AFTER you've played it. It isn't explained to the player outright. You have to dig and think for yourself.

Except that's the official stance on being the menace. So yeah, mail them. Have fun having conversation with people who didn't attend PAX because their lesbian/feminist pride was implicitly offended by a webcomic that male heterosexuals made. Should you think that you fit in with that bunch, good for you!
In before
implied "grandfather-father abuse". In the likely case that you have no clue what the creators' issue with "the patriarchy" is: it's the same thing. Educate yourself at real world politics, of which this game is a part of.
Did you even play the game? :(

At this point your ego is bruised and you're just reeling. Although it's tempting, I'll stop needling.
You should note, however, that you made a clear mistake in the bit you spoiler-tagged there. That makes it pretty obvious you didn't figure it out, and that after reading my post you quickly (too quickly, it appears) googled about to figure it out in a desperate attempt to save face. Also, the part you tried to pretend you understood beneath that mistake-laden spoiler tag is only part of it.
You know, every once in a while it's okay to admit you were wrong about something. In fact, such an admission would do a lot more to save face than to fling insults in a desperate attempt to preserve your pride.

It's the "2deep4u argument" again.

Nope. This game's problem was not the setting, but that it utterly failed to build upon it and deliver, instead it pissed all over it in the end (obligatory example: Mass Effect 3). People (including me) got ready to investigate something frightening and possibly supernatural, or otherwise terrifying. Then it implemented a "twist" with one piece of
out-of-character behavior (rebellious punk grrrl nearly joins the army), and another one which was plain laughable (girl from a pretty much stable+average household and life suddenly escapes, despite her parents only wish being that she wouldn't lick her girlfriend's pussy in the house). Then there's the outrageous price. The gameplay would certainly warrant about 4-5 USD, but 20 is a goddamn steal for a piece of
nonsensical angsty teen propaganda. Good thing I borrowed it first. By the way I played it for three (3) hours. Partly due to the horrible amount of paging.
So your misguided expectations
(imo, misguiding the player to think it's a some kind of scary game is a brilliant move that only emphasizes the otherwise "normal story") weren't met and now you're lashing out on the makers? Good job with
reducing the relationship of the main characters to crude sexual remark and talking about "teen propaganda" (the fuck is that).

And players like this are the reason we can be fed a Thief 4 without jumping.
