Which is the best orginal armours, (not magical)? Is the adamit the best or dwemer? I have found only a helm of adamit armour and a little of dwemer armour. Where can I find the whole adamit armour or dwemer armour? Do I have to fight for it? Now I have a good magical armour. (read killing the Duke). But I would bee glad to change my Imperial stuff to dwemer or adamit stuff.

Dwemer armor bites, when you come down to it; not counting Bloodmoon & Tribunal, the best Light armor is Glass, the best Medium is Orcish and the best Heavy is Daedric. I don't recall off the top of my head what the best is for Bloodmoon & Tribunal, I always had enchanted-everything by then.
Btw, if you have Tribunal, you can go to the smith in the west side of the city for custom glass, & adamantium [and maybe other] armor. If you have Bloodmoon, you can get custom wolf- and bear-skin armor from the armorer in the hut outside the Thirsk meadhall.

If you want to find dwelmer armour you can go search in their cities. The content of a container is not constant so save b4 openining it, open, if you don't like it reload untill you find the item you need. Another GREAT source of dwelmer armour is one of the "family manors" under Skar in Ald'ruhn. You get a quest either as a Redoran or in the Main Quest to free someone and, while doing this, you can kill guards in Dwelmer Armour (no penalty don't worry). But they are quite tough for a new character.

Frankly the Dwemer armor doesn't look all that hot. I've been working my way up (with my first real fighter character) through several factions including the Imperial Legion... and I've got the fancy curlass from them, the goldish one... anyway....
Found a Dwemer curlass in one of the Fighter's Guild quests and tried it on... just, well.. I mean, the sheild looks alright (been using that), but it's so Dwemer, big and bulky, and kinda rusty looking :D
So I stored it in my house.... I may wear it later, but, meh... I'm holding out for some Dedrah stuff.

I love Imperial stuff the best. And Glass armour. Dwelmer is actually third. It would help to have a little polish an paint it anew :).

I like the Dwemer Armor... Or I would, if it didn't give your character a butt that's three times as big as it should be.

Isn't the best medium armour in the base game Indoril?
btw are the custom wolf and bearskin armours any good? The "regular" versions seemed a bit crap to me, especially when you consider that by the time most people attempt this part of the game, they'll already be wearing pretty decent gear.
