I replayed Crusader a couple of years ago via the wonders of Ebay - it is a little clunky but still pretty enjoyable if you're in the mood for hilarious deaths and explosions.

Not a bad promo this weekend - 50% off Jagged Alliances, also Disciples and few others.

Once they get to Ultima VII, I very much hope that they'll include the two expansions. It would actually make most sense, storywise, for them to do a Complete Ultima VII pack.

Considering GoG's previous track record of releasing games with their respective expansions, I would be hesitant to place the blame on anyone but EA.
But just because they're not available now doesn't mean they won't be in the future.

Very true. In fact, I believe GOG has added expansions to other games in the past. But it's no guarantee, unfortunately.
I've held off getting Alpha Centauri so far - even though I would love to have a digital version - since I have a disc copy that includes Alien Crossfire. Never got Dungeon Keeper either. And I'm not sure I'd have gotten Privateer had I known beforehand that it doesn't include its expansion (but at least in that case I don't own a disc copy, so it's not that bad). So it's definitely influencing what I buy.

So am I the only one who bought Magic Carpet and is reducing his life into a relationship with a hot air balloon? This game is amazing, too bad there is no remapping of keys as far as I can find.

DOSBox, dude. CTRL-F1, IIRC.
And folks in this thread, I'm also irritated at the apparent holding back of expansion packs. GOG hasn't yet sold a non-standalone expansion pack separately, though they have at times divided games up strangely: Jagged Alliance 2 is separated from Wildfire, though the manual is for the "Gold" version which includes both, Patrician III is really just Patrician II with an expansion pack bundled with it, making the Patrician I and II pack a bit of of a 'why buy'.
Based on my experience with GOG so far, it sure looks like they want to offer their customers complete games, SMAC with SMAX, Privateer with its expansion. FWIW, word on the street is that DK1's expansion isn't exactly a must-have. They may be tussling with EA over including these expansions, or it may already be over, hard to say. But it is very annoying.
