Wow, that takes me back. I've never played it though I might have a demo disc kicking around somewhere. It seemed to sort of disappear without trace upon release IIRC.

It must've taken them a good few months to patch out all the numerous problems that the PC port had at launch. I recall the Just Add Water CEO ragequitting Neogaf thread for Stranger's. Thankfully he quickly came to his senses and learnt to deal with criticism.
On a side-note, wow that must be one small developer if the CEO is doubling as community relations.

Stranger on GOG? Impressive...definitely my next purchase there. Just wish I had my old Xbox save...
It best be a 1:1 port quality wise or I track this JAW mother down myself :/

Stranger's Wrath will be getting a free patch with the PS3 remake HD assets down the line. I suspect it will be optional for the GOG version, but mandatory for a lot of other digital distributors, like Steam.

Well if you buy the GOG version now, that installer will obviously continue to work in the future.
GOG do seem to avoid ever providing patches, however; opting instead to make you download the entire game anew (a requirement I find frustrating when it comes to the bigger games), so I wouldn't be too surprised if, when the PS3 assets get incorporated, GOG simply replaces the original installer with a new one.
Therefore it might only be optional for GOG customers who buy the game prior to the new version becoming available.

I is confused. Best to wait I guess .Or maybe just get that Xbox again...still got Jet Set Radio/Shenmue 2 to play anyway...

Some of them off the top of my head:- High resolution support (inc. widescreen ratios), Anti-aliasing, custom keybinds, support for both 360 and generic gamepads, Steam Achievements.
