Do you have GOG games which you have yet to download?

Once GOG registers its six-millionth game download (not counting repeat-downloads for a given user), they're going to make the director's cut version of "Broken Sword" free for 48 hours; so you could speed that along by grabbing the games you've not yet downloaded.

OTOH, the person who makes the 6-millionth download gets the whole GOG catalogue, so maybe you want to save your downloads up, and then start them all at once once you think they're almost there :)

I've just downloaded the complete Baldur's Gate (first and second game). Is there anything specific to keep in mind if I want to play it with Tutu and the widescreen mod? I haven't used either in previous runs - the last time I played a Baldur's Gate game must've been six or seven years ago.

Also, any mods that come highly recommended?

For Baldur's Gate II, after you've played it through once, I highly recommend(http://www.pocketplane.net/mambo/index.php?option=content&task=blogcategory&id=98&Itemid=79) Dungeon-Be-Gone which give you the option to skip the teeth-pullingly annoying starter dungeon forevermore.

B-17 is awfully tempting. Classic flight sims always make me nostalgic for the days when I found the time to fly them!

Also: Processing the Broken Sword freebie (which was nice, because I've apparently lost my CD version of this) just took several minutes. I think a lot of people are taking advantage of this offer!
