Without having played deus ex I can't really confirm that this is true of the character but someone on the (

Hmm, upon researching al-biruni I discovered (

I find it hard to make any relation to Garrett based on my quick look through of the page, except for the line where it says that al biruni did not know his father and knew nothing of his family origins. Not sure if that's true of Garrett, as I just re-watched the briefing video for Thief Gold and all he says is that he had no parents. Though that second quote about staying unnoticed certainly makes me think of Garrett.

Wikipedia says that the birthday of Al Biruni is the 5th of September, which is apparently the same as Agent 47 according to someone on the GOG forums.

Ah, that makes sense. Plus, it occurred to me that hero 2 could be Agent 47 since the hitman games have stealth as well. So hero 1 is probably jc denton , hero 2 is probably Agent 47.
No thief. Then again I could be wrong.

Its funny, because I have both those series on steam anyway. I would much prefer thief, since I don't own any digital copies of the first two.

It'd be nice if T1/G/2 made the jump to digital distro, wouldn't it? Especially Gold, since that's considerably rarer.

Wait, why is Garrett out of the running? It could be Garrett and Agent 47. Be the best hidden hero? I know there's a stealth aspect to both Hitman and Deus Ex, but being "hidden" just screams Thief.

According to a facebook clue they posted about hero 1: "I can also tell you he's/she's American and knows how to handle a pistol, shotgun or an assault rifle" which would rule out Garrett.

Deus Ex/JC Denton is out for hero #1, because Gog's facebook page says the hero is on Empire's list of the greatest video game characters of all time, and there's no one from Deus Ex on there.

Sure, but based on the clues, it seems more likely Agent 47 would be hero #2, not #1.
