More like $4.99.

Ok, good start.

It's not an argument when it's one point of view being repeated endlessly.
Although, for the record, I'd pre-order it and pay full price again.

I'm glad I played it, but I wouldn't play it again.

I'd rather play Thief 3 again. In fact I'm going to.

I must get around to playing that at some point. I might play all 3 in a row some time in the near future.

Yeah, I've got plans for that too, ahead of Dishonored.

Hmm, $10 is too much in my opinion. I bought it 2nd hand for 1p (no joke), which I thought was good bargain. Despite about 3 attempts at it, I just couldn't get motivated to play more than 20 minutes of it.

Heh, you got it cheaper than me, and I got it for 50p.
I think my abiding memory of IW was of completing it 3 times in as many nights. There really wasn't much there at all.
It was fun but sparse with ridiculously cramped levels and not a patch on the original.
I got my money's worth from it mind you :)

I suppose I should head over there and write a review for DXIW seeing as I have two genuine copies of the game; both computer and XBOX versions. I completed it at least five times, so that means I can share my opinion on the game right?
In truth it wasn't an aweful game (why would I have played it so many times if it were?), but I was pissed that the levels felt the size of an apartment and Invisible War was the point at which I realized all of the complexity was being sucked out of games. I see it as the point where PC gaming took a nosedive.
But Invisible War did bring fully dynamic shadows to games *before* Doom 3 did, so it gets some credit there. I enjoyed the atmosphere in the game, everything from the tunes that played through the speakers of a coffee shop to the way bots talked. I also really liked the sound design in general, like the sounds the fans in vents made and whatnot.
If anyone wants it, they can have my XBOX version of the game. I've been trying to get rid of some old crap and the last local used game shop closed down.
