For some reason I've got it in my head that Moyer's mentioned (
http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/king_of_dragon_pass/#s_1) King of Dragon Pass quite fondly around here, but I may be mistaken. I personally have no idea about this game; for those who have played it, what exactly is it and is it any good? Cheers.

A good RTS, with an interesting twist on the economy and unit creation mechanics:
Peasants are automatically generated at a certain speed, which slows down the more units you have, but can be sped up by building more huts. Peasants are required to both gather resources and train into actual soldiers (removing their ability to gather resources), so you have to balance your economy and army. Some maps have horses, which your can capture and mount your units on for increased LoS and movement speed, or you could give them to your peasants for an economy boost.
