Same here. Just downloaded some of the Ultima VII extras a few minutes ago and was browsing their forums for the past 2 days.
By the way, Ultima VII stands the test of time for me. Man, this game is just amazing. I haven't played it in ages and remember next to nothing about it, so it is almost like playing it fresh.

Wonder how Ultima 8 stands up after this long. I used it to hold that game up due to it + Darkside of Xeen being the 2 games that convinced me that I HAD to get a PC back in the very beginning (very early 90s). Can still remember the words to that intro, word for word.

Ultima 8's problem is that it's so horribly crippled by the engine that the scope of its story is drastically limited compared to what came before. The best thing it did was give rise to the Crusader games.
