...can you elaborate on how that follows from giving refunds?

Yeah, while I agree with his sentiment about lost_soul's type of people I'm not sure what that has to do with anything.

It's a general GOG thread, not a thread specifically about GOG's new return policy. Note how I wasn't quoting anyone?
Most Lunix support for older games would probably be achieved through non-native CodeWeavers or Wineskin wrappers. Less than 2% of all desktop PC users run Lunix, for a smaller company like CD Projekt I don't see it being worth their time and effort, even if they are rich by "developing world" standards.

Congratulations, it now makes even less sense that you brought it up.

Do you have any idea how big the desktop PC scene is? Not just PC gamers. The entire PC market. From grandmas to enterprise, I think it's roughly to the tune of 1.5 to 2 billion people. 2% of that is, like, a lot of people. Around 40,000,000 on the high end, I think.
The fact that Linux users are more likely to be gamers (cuz they're all goddamn nerds), there's a good deal of potential there. Hence why Valve is going after it with the Steamboxes.
Only downside? They're preachy.

Kinda like some people we know.

Whatever happened to him anyway? It feels weird not having someone get all screamy about DRM around here. Like we're missing some fundamental internet thing.

Probably got a Risperdal prescription.
Renzatic on 12/12/2013 at 04:39
...or maybe his prescription ran out. O_o

Gog.com started it's winter sale. Lots of awesome stuff there. They're also offering Fallout, Fallout 2 and Fallout Tactics for FREE for the next 48 hours, so go grab that. Unfortunately their servers are under too much stress and at least I can't login atm.
