Cover Action is absolutely fantastic actually! I still play it from time to time. It´s basically several minigames (shooter, decryption of messages, planting of wiretaps and surveillance) combined into one where you basically investigate and break up terrorist conspiracies. Really worth trying out!

I hated this game when it was originally released - imo, it tries very hard to be like Duke 3D, but fails just as much as it succeeds on that front. I did give it another spin around the time SiN Emergence came out, though, and it's a reasonably decent shooter, after all, I'd say.

Oh hell yes! It is such a pain in the arse to get both the original disc and Steam versions running on modern PCs.

I used to jam SiN multiplayer all the time over LAN with my brother. It made a greater impact on my life in the late '90s/early '00s than Half-Life and its mods ever did.

Also Emergence was actually a lot of fun, it's a shame that it never got any more episodes.
Some mods actually made it a bit however. NFI why they chose to Blade a mute like Gordon Freeman all of a sudden.
