Well, they're Polish after all. If Koki is any indication, they live and breathe boneheaded trolling.
I'd be offended if this wasn't so damn true.

Why would they integrate a DVD drive into the case? That's almost as dumb as mounting the hard drive sideways, under the 5.25 drive bay. I have a machine that shipped like that. I think it was done specifically to torture the person who ends up working on it (me). Ah well, at least I got it for free. The OEM (Sony) got nothing from me!
Why should you have to disassemble the whole drive bay to pull out the hard drive? These must be the same engineers who designed the game console where you must remove the battery to change the game. (NGage)

The monks on the GOG video did make me laugh a bit, at least they realise they messed up. This is what can happen when you let gamers with a mid-90's mindset plan a marketing strategy. Things have moved on a bit guys, remember Daikatana's marketing disaster? :)
Good that they're staying DRM-free. While I am not impressed with the marketing stunt, I'm not walking away from them (like some people online have said they will), but I would have done if they had started including DRM. And I'll be picking up Baldur's Gate when they re-open, even though I've already got the DVD release from Atari.

Hope this little stunt didn't backfire on them. Last week, I e-mailed somebody at Monolith and asked them to sell NOLF2 on (
www.gog.com). I never got a reply, but I hope they didn't go check out GOG whilst it was "down". They may have gotten the wrong idea, or thought it really was gone.
Then again, Monolith probably already knew about this stunt, because they already sell Blood 1/2 there.

I don't think that has much to do with Monolith, they sold the rights for the Blood franchise to GT (Atari now).

Well there you go. (
http://www.cad-comic.com/cad/20051104) It's Sony.
I had to put a wireless card in a VAIO desktop a month or so ago. The case didn't have one detachable side like most do; instead, the top, left and right sides were all one piece of metal, molded into a rounded U shape. Dumbest thing ever; took me several minutes to wiggle that thing back into place. :p
