That's true, yeah.

I know because I played it long enough to realize it was a shit game
Dude, you gave up because your companions kept on dying because you never worked out how to resurrect them. I did actually
read your initial posts, y'know.
No one is complaining that you dislike PST; no one
really cares and most people are happy with Diff'rent Strokes. The problem is that your bases for disliking it are moronic and your need to mention your dislike every single time it's mentioned cretinous.
Though at least you have now confirmed it's simple trolling.

Clearly you were reading someone else's posts, because that's
not why I quit. I quit because the combat sucked vicious elderly balls. Now you can masturbate furiously while telling me "BUT THE COMBAT'S NOT THE POOOOIIIINT" like you do
every single time. and yet it's still there, it still sucks, and I'm still completely underwhelmed by the rest of the game to bother pushing on.

Disliking a game because its gameplay sucks and its writing doesn't make up for it is moronic? I'd like to think that you're not
that fucking stupid, just completely delusional, so why don't
you tell me what you think my reasons for not liking the game are?

Well
yeah. Watching people (especially you) flip out because I slaughtered their geek sacred cow is funny. I love how you've completely deluded yourself as to why I hate the game, too. It'd be sad if it weren't hilarious. Fortunately, your continued, extended, years-long, creepy hatecrush on me fills out the "sad" category quite handily. Is this some latent homosexuality that you're taking out on me, or am I just your exception to the weekly barnyard animal?

Lads, I'm not one to complain much about your bickering and such, but can we actually get BACK to the topic of GOG?, I think we've dealt enough shit flinging in this thread for the moment
:)

No, we also extensively have to go into the various reasons why dethtoll is completely wrong for not liking Hexen!!!11 :p
Renzatic on 16/10/2010 at 05:21
Comeon people. He doesn't like Planescape. That isn't so hard to believe. It's a strange game, and If it isn't his thing, than it isn't his thing. Plain and simple as that. No reason to pull out the shunning wagon and go all crazy on him because he has a differing opinion.

dethtoll...not liking Hexen!!
What? Seriously? Only the hugest, whiniest fucks don't like Hexen. I'm taking him off my friends list.
june gloom on 16/10/2010 at 06:00
Hexen's a bunch of switch-hunt bullshit with a lot of "what the fuck did that do?" moments. It's not a bad game but it's ultimately not all that fun. And higher skill levels is a chore.
Renzatic on 16/10/2010 at 06:21
I'll semi agree with you for one reason, and it's not the weird switch-did-wot level design (which I thought was pretty good), it's the weapons. Like someone else said before, the limited weapon selection kinda sucks, and is the reason why Hexen isn't as fun as it could've been.
The level design was top notch though. Yeah, it did occasionally get confusing when pressing a button on one end of the map opened a door in some seemingly random location on the other end, but that didn't bother me too much in light of its strengths. It was probably the most atmospheric and varied of all the Id raycaster games, save Doom64.

It's soooooo gooooooood.
On another note, I just got to the last episode in Blood. I was a bit disappointed in the 3rd episode, so I'm hoping the 4th is a nice return to form.
