How is Icewind Dale 2 compared to the first one?
Zerker on 4/11/2010 at 21:39
It's... okay. I found it rather uninspired and buggy, but then again, I wasn't hugely sold on the first one either. The D&D 3rd edition rules to make things play a bit smoother.
Gog is also serving up a "we're overwhelmed" image right now. It's kinda cute, but I can't actually go there. Does anyone know if Age of Wonders: Shadow Magic has made it up yet?

It was nice of them to give a free game to pre-release testers, but I wish they had given us a choice of the game. If not a game of our choise, a game from our favorite genre (or the genre that we've purchased most of) would have been a good idea.
It is funny to think of all of the games I would buy immediately if they were available on GOG. Soooo many developers just don't want my money I guess. I'm not buying downloadable games on some closed console platform that will be abandoned within five years.

A good idea would be to work on those sense of self-entitlement issues.

It was made available last Tuesday.

A good idea would be not to jump on those who make a sensible (beit a bit wishful-thinking) post, even if other posts by the same person made you cringe.
Don't punish good behavior and whatnot..

Trust a Lunix using douche bag to complain about a gift. I suppose imaginary self-entitlement rights are par the course if you're an open source commie who's used to free lunches.

The phrase "open source commie" is usually tossed around by people who despise the GPL. These folks want everyone else to release their stuff as BSD so it can be commandeered for proprietary profits, all the while contributing nothing back to society themselves.
Now please explain what that has to do with me?

I'm not sure which part of society advocates looking a gift horse in the mouth as 'good behaviour'.
