Super Meat Boy. One of the first thing that pops up when you load the game is a warning telling you you're stupid if you play it with a keyboard.
Which is a laughable claim. But yeah, it is a good PC game(if you like platformers) and it does use a 360 controller.

I couldn't imagine playing SMB on a keyboard. It'd be purest torture.

No one mentioned Super Meat Boy?
That wasn't out yet a year and a half ago when this thread was created.

Oh I didn't notice that.

couple more to add..
Worms Reloaded
Mini Ninjas
Left for Dead 1 and 2 (but don't expect beating the PC versions on hard)
In fact the steam controller icon works as a good indicator. What I don't understand is why games that have their base in consoles, that don't make any changes to utilize the extra control kb+m give still strip the xbox control out of the game, case in point. Dragon Age 2 - I think I would have much more fun with this game using a controller.

A lot of people find the GTA games on PC more comfortable when played with a controller.

DA2 is a bad example for your argument, because they went to the effort of fully optimising the game for PC.
* The interface and its inputs were optimised and made full use of the keyboard (unlike Mass Effect 2, which most definitely was a largely unoptimised port - implementation wise, worse than even ME1 PC).
* Virtually every screen (character sheet, equipment, inventory, quest log, etc) and action had a hotkeyed keyboard shortcut (unlike ME2).
Outside of mappable 1-9 key shortcuts, ME2's interface (and its interactions) was consolised garbage. There were no hotkeys for individual weapons, nor hotkeys for individual screens.
The key point is, to support the 360 pads, they would have to port over an entirely separate secondary interface that would only be used by a small percentage of DA2 PC purchasers. This separate interface would be an optional alternative to the native m+kb driven one. It's not worth the hassle.Other PC version specific optimisations:-
* A DX11 renderer.
* A DX11 "high detail" mode, with PC exclusive graphical effects.
* They released an optional High Res texture pack.
* A full gambit of customisable graphical options:- multiple levels of AA, AF, ambient occlusion - natively selectable from the options menu; other things such as triple buffering could be turned on by editing a INI.

That's a 'gamut', not a 'gambit'.

Regardless of whether Dragon Age 2 was a bad example, Mass Effect 1 and 2 are both fairly good examples. I actually played (and thoroughly enjoyed) both games with gamepad -> keyboard + mouse mapping software. I would have liked to have that option built in.

To be fair, combat in those games isn't really difficult for the most part.
