Hawk, one of our forum members, passed away quite suddenly this morning. He used to write me regularly and seemed to be a genuinely nice man. I'd like to extend my sincere condolences to his family. I'll miss his posts and friendly emails. :(

Nightwalker just confirmed it was the same person who I built a PC for ages ago and did remote support for from time to time when he had a thief related problem. As Nightwalker said, he was a nice guy despite his long term illness. From what I knew from conversations over the phone while remoted in, playing thief games gave him relief and a distraction as it does for most of us I guess.
I never met him in person, so I don't know how I should feel other than a little sad.

This is a real shock. We had many pm conversations and he was always so sweet to me. Apparently I made him laugh - I'm glad for that. Dear Doug, be in peace.
