I couldn't help playing a game. It's the cutest frigging thing I've seen in a while. 'Insert Coin'. Heh.

They even included the intermission screens. I wonder if the game also bugs out after the 255th level.

Today I finished my internship at an IT help desk for a real-estate company. Someone called in freaking out because they opened up their web browser and started hearing Pac-Man noises. They had set Google to open in a tab, but had another tab open on top of it, so they never noticed the Google homepage. I had seen the doodle earlier that day, but it wasn't until then that I discovered you could actually play it. Pretty darn spiffy.

haha it works on iphone!
Enchantermon on 25/5/2010 at 03:48
Yes, it does! Know why? It's not Flash. I was quite surprised when I read Google's blog about it, but, except for the music, the little game is written completely in HTML, CSS and Javascript, so it works on all Apple products. The music is the only thing that won't.

Surprisingly though, you can actually move Pac-Man by tapping on the path you want him to take.
Jackablade on 25/5/2010 at 08:29
That's probably because you can move Pac-man by clicking on the path with the mouse when you're not on the iPhone.
