G3 was terrible. I used the community patch off the bat, stuck it on hard and found it nearly impossible. The control system was just unbelievably bad (I loved the G2 controls, maybe the patch fucked it up I dunno). G2 would definitely be my pick of the bunch (I never played Night of the Raven or whatever) over G1, which I found relatively dull. I'm still excited about this though, as I love the game world. I wonder whether the control system will come more into line with other games like Mount & Blade or Morrowind or whatever. Have they put up any details on this?

It's pretty obvious, right. Europe has, like, Transylvania and England and shit.
America on the other hand is the home of motherfucking Disneyland.
It's a very relevant, globally inclusionist feature and I for one choose to champion this radical, sensitive new outlook in video gaming.

No no no no, it's to correct for those shades those Americans are always wearing.
On a serious note:

They'd been talking about having different palettes for ages. It is, apparently, due to genuine market research showing that Americans like bright colors and the shiny while Europeans prefer duller colours and less eye searing bloom.
