I know the video drivers say 56.72 and up for my video card are good for running T3. Why do I have this problem?
When starting Thief: Deadly Shadows a grayish textured border appears at the top of the screen with the rest of the screen from top to bottom fading to black. Then I hear a jerky audio sound.. nothing is recognizeable as far as the audio. It just sounds like a popping. After which the graphics change and I get a different grayish screen fading to black. I hit the windows button to task out to the desktop. After the game tasked out I could hear the intro audio just prefectly. As if the game would run fine as long as I didn't view it.
I ended both t3 game processes after end-tasking to windows and then restarted the game and let it run its course. After several minutes I got the main start screen but when I moved the mouse to a new location the pointer would not move right away but jerk across the screen after several seconds. Once in a sub menu such as options, etc.. the mouse moved just fine. Returning to the main menu the graphics were slowed once again and the mouse jerked across the screen once again.
Don't know exactly what to do as I have updated everything as far as windows, graphics, monitor, and audio drivers. My system specs are as follows:

Sounds like its much bigger than a graphic problem, is the only insight I can provide.
