This game contains far and away the best writing and voice acting I have ever experienced in any game. I reckon it beats most films too. People go on about games being art etc like it has to have some obvious serious message to be considered (eg Bioshock) when something like this is absolutely 100% art. The script combines so many elements from and has some fantastic characterisation, very clever homages (replaying it last year I was tickled pink by the "The Third Man" references), big and small laughs and geniunely touching moments all mixed up with a classic golden era Hollywood story filtered through a Burton/classic noir asthetic. The fact that it works at all would be suprising but that it works as brilliantly as it does is staggering. True genius.
Also recently I got quite a nice suprise when I caught a scene of "Ugly Betty" and heard her father speak!

A quick scan of this document reveals that I have forgotten most of the puzzles so a replay is definately on the cards!
Middle-age has it's advantages :D

I've never been able to get my hands on a copy; every time I see one available on like eBay it's always right when I have no money.
half.com is your friend.
On a totally unrelated note, dethtoll, I dunno if you noticed, but apparently Earned in Blood is on Steam, free of starforce. I don't remember it being announced anywhere (last I checked they just had the first game) so I was fairly excited.
