Deus Ex ot uninstalled from my PC so I reinstalled it and decided to start a Low-tech game. I got to Hong Kong and imagine my horror and disgust when I found out the Dragons Tooth, that paragon of Low-tech weapons only did 20 damage without the patch, compared to the 100 with the patch.
Not only that, but even on Master (which I was, so 30 damage, whoo) you couldn't smash locks, turrets, cameras or anything else which make the Dragons Tooth so good.
It ruined that game for me, so I just gave it up then and there.
Just wanted to moan. ;)

I dont remember ever being able to smash locks with the Dragons Tooth. I thought that was the point, very powerful but limited. The normal sword breaks through locks fine.

In the patched version, the Dragons Tooth on Master (along with the Combat Strength aug on level 1) will take out most locks and all turrets, alarms, cameras, and other stuff like that. It's the same in that regard as a Mastered Sniper Rifle.

Why don't you like to play with the patch? I agree, the DTS with the patch is a lot stronger (150 damage at Master...dude). It thought it kinda ruined it though that i could take out cameras and turrets with it...kinda contradicted my decision to take Radar Transparency.
