Celebrating round postcount was more acceptable and IN in 2002 than it would be today. Actually, other things were more acceptable... it has something to do with maturity of the community.

I think what Thief13x was getting at was that Grundy was celebrating his 5000th post, yet in his profile, it only shows he's posted 2,424 times. I'm guessing this has something to do with archiving old data here on TTLG.
