Yeah I was hoping for a North Yankton-set prequel DLC. I do hope they flesh it out in
some way for the new edition tho.

There was a recent RPS blog post about the mods that would allow for first-person view in GTA IV, combined with making the game work on Oculus Rift. That's one of the things I'm looking forward to come autumn/winter, and something I'm hoping will also be made possible for GTA V - I'd *love* to explore Los Santos in VR.

@henke That'd be my guess too. GTA online appears to be rather popular and fun (I don't know what those two words mean), and they've already released some DLC for it but I can't believe they've made it the primary focus of the development team. In all likelihood, they're still cooking up some interesting SP missions, let's hope some of those will coincide with the release of the next-gen version of the game. Still surprised that Rockstar was never completely clear on the GTA V DLC roadmap.
And yeah, with the major success of mods for GTA IV, a properly moddable new game sounds very likely.

That's on TV right now and that character had just appeared for the first time, just as I scrolled to that picture on my phone.
Mental coincidence.
Re: GTA. I was really hoping for some single player dlc too.
