After downloading a 350MB patch yesterday, now I have to download another one of the same size today? And at a cripplingly slow rate that means it takes more than an hour?
Rockstar are not winning any friends in this household.

That last heist set-up mission was epic. I was quite glad I got in the driver's seat of the car Saintsbury and I had to nick, as he couldn't drive to for shit! I suspect the lag he had playing from China didn't help.
While Thirith and henke were burning the seemingly indestructible cop car, I had to lead cops and angry stevedores a chase around the city. Longest and most intense car chase I've had in the game yet!
Definitely up for more of that, and I like how the missions require a bit of thinking, but reward creative tactics.

Same here! Hoping to be playing later today, but can't guarantee it; otherwise, I'll definitely be playing again next Friday afternoon/evening and Saturday (around the same time). I agree, the game gets a nice balance between requiring teamwork and smart playing on the one hand and running with it when things go crazy on the other.

I should have time this coming Saturday to play some if anyone's around. I haven't played the online portion yet, do I need to know anything for it, and/or do I need a mic? Don't have one hooked up at the moment. Btw, I'm in the U.S., Central time.

A mic is a plus, and you do need to play the first few tutorial missions in Online before it lets you play with other people.
Me, Thirith, and maybe Malf will likely be online in the weekend. We're all in Europe though, so there's a 6-8 hour difference. Get up early in the morning and start poking us on Steam and something can probably be arranged. :)
