Here's hoping the new content'll make sense for groups of four...

Finally finished that final heist, thanks to the trusty TTLG crew. And we shall not mention playing it in was, nor barrel roll suicide, or indeed Malf killing himself by parachuting into a tree.
Malf on 12/6/2016 at 07:38
Hey, that tree was coming right for me!
Thirith on 12/6/2016 at 08:31
It definitely was. I could see that evil glint in its branchy eyes. We should've gone back and run it over.

Here's a video, by Jesh, of the aforementioned barrel rolling.

It's a shame that GTA Online is populated by too many cheaters, because there are a lot of activities in free roam that sound pretty cool. The VIP Mode that was introduced a while ago offers some crew-only game modes, but there are others that are PvP and that would seem to allow for some fun gameplay.
I wish there were more TTLGers (or other friends of mine on R*SC) playing at the same time as me, so we could also play the jobs that require more than four people. Those of you who've been on the fence, especially if you're in Europe or don't mind weird playing times: join us in Los Santos! It's definitely worth it. And GTA Online is barely any less stable than Stalker or Arma 2 were on release. :p

I'd join you folks if I wasn't a) terrible at driving (ask henke, ask Jesh, or hell, ask anyone) and b) more liable to die from teleporting into a lorry when I was actually standing on a roof half a kilometre off because of intercontinental lag.
Oh, I also need to get GTA 5 at some point. That's probably important, I think.
Thirith on 13/6/2016 at 07:01
Oh, driving is optional. There's usually someone else to drive - or fly, while others helpfully suggest that a barrel roll might be just the thing that's needed. Trust me, whether you're a good driver or not, I doubt you'll have much of a negative impact on our overall mortality in the game. :cheeky:
Sulphur on 13/6/2016 at 07:51
Well, why not, we're all in it just to hit things (and each other by, uh, accident) anyway. I'll pick it up during the Steam sale later this month.

That reminds me - my wife and daughter will be out of town this coming weekend, so if you can tolerate my generally poor life expectancy, I may be up for shenanigans. If it helps, if I'm too bad, we can play "Find and kill faetal many times" afterwards for catharsis.
