after command "reload schemas" guards lose their ability of speaking and shouting. I can still hear their footsteps and all other sounds from environment. I've tried everything and it doesn't work. HELP! :(

Could it be that you forgot to put all of the schema files in the schemas folder?

I'm guilty of doing that exact thing.
I miss the WTF!? threads.

All seems to be ok. Custom amb works perfectly but when I type in "reload schemas" -> guards speech disappears
and to Queue: I'll try to remember that in my next thread :joke:

Like R said, make sure you have all the original schemas in your folder, or else you lose them when you reload.

I'm having this exact issue with my mission, and yes, all the schemas are in the schema folder. I'm using Dromed 2 NewDark 1.20. Strangest thing is, it's not all the guards, it's just one so far that I've found, but who knows if there are any other guards that mess up. Reloading schemas more than once can cause other guards to go silent.:erm:
If I manually enter vguard1 on a guard that is silent it works fine, but without it (which means the guard defaults to vguardmen) he's silent.

Look in the Hierarchy>Sound>Voice>Vguardmen to see if vguard1 is in there. If not you can manually enter it, but before you do, check your Speech pkcs #7 certificates //GUARDS. voice vguard1
archetype vguardmen

What does monolog report when you reload schemas? Any errors or warnings?
sNeaksieGarrett on 9/8/2013 at 15:17
I didn't see any errors at all, just green text talking about tag counts.
MysteryMan, that's not what I meant. vguard1 is already in the hierarchy, that was just an example of switching from vguardmen to an actual specific voice file to show that it works instead of vguardmen. If I didn't add vguard1 or vguard2, etc. then he stayed silent. Reloading the schema again caused a different guard to be silent.
