GUN vs. BOW!...Fight!

After reading in here, I'd figure I might as well reply here. I've always think of Garrett with a bow. He wouldn't any attention to himself while getting loot or doing any other tasks. I know that some people would think that if he did get a gun it would have to have some kind of a suppressor on it. But I would think that Garrett would want to not leave any trace of his presence. The gun smoke would surly make guards wonder. As for the guards, absolutely. In fact, I've already made missions where there were female Mechs toting pistols. Very deadly I might add. :ebil:

In conclusion, I think that Garrett should be with a bow in my opinion. :p

There is (at least) one FM where Garrett has a pistol. It's actually really cool; too bad nothing else ever happened with that series.

Wasn't there a bank-style fanmission where you had a gun with a single shot, and the guards had guns too? I remember getting shot would just ruin your health bar.

Except you're not Garrett, and it's not set in the THIEF Universe.

I agree, but it doesn't support the gun argument for Garrett...so, in this example, you might as well be talking about another game.

Voted bow, but the idea, that guns couldn't possibly exist in Thief universe is equally as ridiculous as a master thief choosing such a loud weapon. Anyone, who says that guns have no place in this universe clearly hasn't been paying attention to their surroundings during the last 3 games.
