Plus most of the coop puzzles are considerably more challenging and require much thought and communication between team mates. Of course, you have to have a friend for that.

Unless this is an elaborate troll that has dug up a random photo and tagged it as HL3 (which, taking in account that it is Half-life 3 were talking about, could be possible), this is the first concrete evidence that it is actually coming. The photo is of mocap for Alyx Vance for HL3.
