I'd love to know how the headcrabs manage to zombify the Combine. Those guys have some sort of headgear that seems to be damn protective.

maybe they absorb the helmet? it would explain why perfectly helmeted security guards in black mesa weren't invulnerable to headcrabbing.

Hell, even Dr. Freeman goes down eventually if you allow the headcrabs to try again and again. :p

I'm currently playing through Azure Sheep (Super Definition) and have to say that it's very underwhelming. All the levels thus far have been long, boring, copy-pasted hallway labyrinths.
It has some nice scripted events, but that's the only positive that comes to mind.
Blue Shift is way better than this, TBH.

tomorrow starts supporter testing of the new 1.2 update for dystopia.
for a measly 10$ you get supporter status after payment and can participate in the 1.2 supporters testing that leads up to the final release in...(when it's done).
if you don't wanna fork out any money now is the time to practise a little on v1.1 :)

I'll start supporting that when I see some goddamn American servers.

(
http://decay.half-lifecreations.com/) Decay is finally out and quite enjoyable for everyone interested in more backstory behind the black mesa incident. Especially those who can play it real co-op since having to switch characters all the time can become a little tedious.
A high-quality, faithful port of the PS2 version, anyway. Play it now.
